The Spectrum Works program creates a consistent, supportive environment that builds confidence, encourages better learning and helps create a path for success. Relationships between employees are cultivated around the work experience and they use those relationships to motivate one another and build friendships. The integrated, inclusive work setting encourages participants to interact with neuro-typical employees.
“Spectrum Works does just that! My students are in real work experiences with high expectations and have opportunities for meaningful employment after graduation. Thank you Spectrum Works!”
– Thomas Beese, Transition Supervisor Newmark High School
Spectrum Works’ goal is to start partnerships with companies that develop jobs in a variety of occupational categories with opportunities for advancement, pay increases, and increased responsibility. After successfully completing the training program and graduating from high school, trainees may be hired into a partner company’s workforce, go onto further their studies, or seek employment else where.
